I debated buying the first book to trial the series first... I am so glad I took the plunge, because I devoured the whole series in a couple of days, and I would have hated to wait to download the next one.

I ended up reading this over the course of 2 days. I could not stop! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I absolutely LOVED this book! The characters were well written and relatable. Brynn's grief was heartbreaking, Cendric's kindness was touching and made him even more attractive than described, Snapper was a fun comic relief (I was hoping he was going to be a killer like GOT direwolves, but I had to accept that he's really like one of my dogs), and several minor characters really stood out. The mystery and action were great, and it came to a nice conclusion! I cant wait to see what issue the Mothers bring in the next book!

So I follow Elisabeth Wheatley on various social media platforms and find all of her romantasy takes (along with her book goblin character) to be completely hilarious. It only makes sense that I'd give her actual writing a shot and she absolutely delivers. While there are some familiar tropes here and there, the Daindreth's Assassin series is still a refreshing take on the "Ok I had to kill you but now I kinda like you... ok really like you... ok I love you" storyline. Importantly, moments that would have "extended the drama" due to miscommunication were solved with proper communication because the main characters already have enough to deal with external to their relationship. I haven't gotten all the way through the series yet, but I am looking forward to Thadred's book since he's probably my favorite character.

Really good quality

The quality of the books is great, and the story exactly what I wanted. The perfect mix of doomsday, humor and love story. (I just started with Book 4 the long free Weekend was spend in bed reading ^^)

Good thing it's audio or my children would be hungry. So good I bounce from earbuds to Bluetooth in the car. And get annoyed when I forget the earbuds for the store. The characters learning and developing is fun and also challenging.

Bastard's Honor (SIGNED PAPERBACK)

I loved the book, can't wait for book 2 !
The plot was easy to follow and yet interesting. The love story felt different from what I usualy read but so true and real. And the dogs are the cherry on the top.

I had been seeing Elizabeth post videos about this book for awhile and it did not disappoint. I read the whole thing in one sitting and am about to start it a second time to really absorb it. I love her characters and how complex they are. I love that they have many reasons why the do what they do and I love seeing how that unfolds over time.
