Worth the wait

Having received the books but waiting just to finish 9 other books first that I bought before I could hardly wait. Did I finish the other 9 no I only got up till 7 before I gave up and started reading book 1 today. I was smiling and on the edge of my seat while reading. I couldn't put my book down and thought it was worth it. After I'm done eating I will immediately dive into book 2. I really love daindreth, he's just a cutie and a sweetheart while Amira is such a badass yet a very loyal person.

they go to fast!!!!

I've devoured the first two in two days. they are fast paced and engaging and well written. Thank god there's 5 + a sequel because I'm going to be heart broken when I run out. the romance especially is so well done, so tender and gentle while at the same time being steamy and passionate. love it!

Easy read an nice character research.

Haven't read all the books yet, (half way in), but I like the build-up and the character interactions. Nice touch is the research Elisabeth (the writer) put into. I'm wondering how she came up with mentioning Jenever, as this drink is fairly unknown except in Flanders and the Netherlands.

Amazing series

Read the first two books and adored the story and characters so just had to buy the physical set for my bookshelf! The world building is on part w/ the action and dialog. I love a good slow burn romance w/ longing and angst... can't wait to see what's next!
