from 628 reviewsThis is by far my favorite mug that I own. The size and feel are perfect and the book goblin design makes me so happy! 😁
I love the mugs and I am sure my daughters will love them (they are going to be Christmas presents). However, I did not pay attention to the details and was taken aback by how large the mugs are! As cool as these ones are, I would love a smaller version.
Love the way the set with the new covers look. I finished Assassin and into Outlaw now. I wish I had more free time, I would probably read them straight through, I hate having to set it aside.
I got drawn into the books by Elisabeth's you tube channel, and her references to the characters in her skits and videos.
I completely wasn't disappointed! I got the sample as a tester off Amazon and then bought the book the next day. A frantic week of begging my bank account later, I have the whole series.
The books are absolutely amazing! I love the development between Amira and Daindreth and the world they inhabit. It rekindled my love of reading!
Now if only my kids would let me have a few hours to myself so I could finish the series 😆
I adore Sair and Thadred’s relationship. Wheatley’s exploration of realistic consequences of trauma in adults, from both childhood and recent events, is delicious. This is one of very few examples of the misunderstanding trope done well—in execution, in deepening the our understanding of the characters, in progressing the relationship.
Do you have abandonment/commitment issues? Feel like you’re carrying the world on your back? Are you terrified of not living up to what the people you love need you to be? Read. This. Book.
I loved this book. Full of adventure, twists, and complex characters. Some of the magic has really powerful metaphors for our world, but it is all enjoyable on its own terms. And the sequels are great too!
I originally bought Daindreth’s Assassin on its own, and quickly realized I want to see these characters through to the end so I bought the bundle. I adore Dain, Amira, and Thadred. Wheatley’s writing is engaging, paced nicely throughout and she includes thoughtfully researched details that make the story come to life.
Great bookmark and such a cute design!
