The entire series, not just this part seems rushed and cut off way too early. Besides that I really liked the use of Fletcher's POV. The story made sense and was cute in it's own right (hurt quite a bit when as readers we knew how it ends and were heartbroken seeing how much potential Fletcher had).On another note, judging by title alone I was thinking that there would be a tad of origin of Damian's romance included too. It would make sense to me to show a bit of a switch in part 2 of Damian's perspective and, more importantly, POV of Madelyn as the theme of human would be preserved with such a move. Another point of mine is that because it seemed to be the last part following the treaty with huntsmen and the sibling's Mother, I expected a bit of a POV switch from the past reminiscence of Fletcher and old memories of Madelyn to show Madelyn's present thoughts as she saw a change in Damian's behavior or a tad of huntsmen's perspective in part three. I was wondering if the title wasn't meant to be telling that siblings would be succesful in bringing a different rule where huntsmen and regular people would enjoy different treatment in either Damian's or Hattie's rule.I do feel like this project was left off unresolved and I don't think there will be a continuation with other series taking priority for the auyhor, which I find an absolute shame. Also, I would like to take this review as an opportunity to say that I'd really like to dive in the stories that were a bit outlined as youtube sketches for romance types (especially supernatural and fantasy trope) if given opportunity in the future. I am very invested overall and will read through all the books just to see how the stories go and if they have a different plot thickening and resolving aspects. Good job as I'm definitely left needing more.
