Book Goblin - Organic Canvas Tote Bag

Even bigger on the inside than it is on the outside

Roomy, sturdy, great Book Goblin graphic, just the thing for making a Little Free Library run. And if, while you're carrying this tote, you cross paths with someone who is unfamiliar with the Book Goblin character, the gist of meaning still comes across.

Omg so adorable

Love love the bags every person in my house has one now and wants to go to the library. Only sad part is we ordered stickers too and it hasn’t shown yet. Hoping it’s just our mailman.

Gift for my wife

Neither of us are romance fans, but my wife was a librarian and we watch your page for the book goblin skits. We were glad to both support your efforts as well as the tote was a nice surprise for her.

I love it!

The tote is a great size, much larger than I expected it to be. It’s comfortable on the shoulder, even when full of books.

I do find it a little expensive for a print on a canvas bag but everything is organic which of course ups the price.

The print of Book Goblin is really cute and I have been complemented on it. One sales person even expressed interest in selling them in her shop.

The print feels very good but already a small flake has come off although it won’t crack and does flex with the movement of the bag. This is the only reason for a 4 star review.

What is the difference between the Viking Age and the Middle Ages/Medieval period? I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED. 😁

Not like OTHER Romance authors...

Story time!

Harlequin launched in the 70's as the American imprint of UK publisher Mills & Boon, popularizing the Romance genre in the US market (if you want to know more about the history of what we now call the Romance genre, I highly recommend researching the work of Vivian Stephens!).

Ever since then, popular discourse around the genre has been stuck on a hamster wheel. It seems that every few years when the genre garners notice, the media will talk about how Romance has ✨changed✨ and is now feminist, empowering, egalitarian, subversive etc.

It's almost like the media is trying too hard to legitimize the genre.

Unfortunately, authors often fall into this trap, too (including myself before I started learning about the history of my genre). We say our books are ✨not like other Romance books✨.

Sure, our tastes and sensibilities as a culture have changed from that first batch of 1970's novels and we don't necessarily like everything we find in them now. And no, not every Romance novel will be for every Romance reader. There are plenty of Romance novels that are not for me, as much as I love the genre.

But Romance novels, just by being an art form made for women and primarily by women, are subversive by their very existence.

The Romance genre is perfectly valid, worthy of taking up shelf space, awards, and media notice, and we don't have to keep having this conversation. There's no reason to keep trying to pass some arbitrary moral test.

Is Norse mythology fake?

Now that I have your attention, let's talk about Snorri Sturluson and why we love, but don't necessarily trust him!

This is one of many things I've been learning as I research Viking history for my upcoming Viking-inspired Fantasy Romance, Tears of the Wolf.

Great success! 📚

Our Daindreth's Assassin hardcover bundles were originally supposed to include books 1-5 and Bastard's Honor.

But for some reason, after our printer printed them, the 200 copies of Bastard's Honor were left to languish in a warehouse for 10 days.

A month after I ordered the Bastard's Honor books and had already been stiffed 18 books in my other order, I reached out to customer service like, "What the actual heck, y'all?"

I received a semi-apologetic response and a promise that the books would be shipped out same-day.

After a small hiccup with some customs forms and multiple phone calls to Fedex's international division, THEY ARE HERE.

This means ALL hardcover sets will include books 1-5 and Bastard's Honor!

As of writing this, we do still have hardcover sets left and it looks like they will last until this coming Friday when general access opens!

It's a Black Friday miracle!
