After going through the feedback from my editor, I believe I need more time to edit and polish Daindreth’s Outlaw, the second book in the Daindreth’s Assasssin series.
Instead of at the end of next month, Daindreth’s Outlaw will now be released March 29, 2022.
If you follow my Broken Enchantments podcast series, you might know that we have just passed the 81st episode, equivalent to the fourth book of the Argetallam series, The Temple of Tarkoth. Going through that book, I found many places where I felt I could have done better and where I felt I didn’t properly do the characters justice.
I don’t want to have those sorts of regrets with Daindreth’s Outlaw. My recent experience revisiting Janir’s story has weighed heavily in my decision to delay this release to give me more time for another round with my editor and more time to make sure the book is the quality I want to deliver.
While I understand this is disappointing for many (including me), I believe it’s necessary and I have never regretted delaying a release so far (though I have regretted the opposite).
